Calendly review

Verdict. Calendly is not a recruiting tool, but for one-on-one screens and single-interviewer rounds it is the cheapest way to stop emailing time slots back and forth, and most candidates already know how to use it.

Best for: small teams scheduling one-on-one interviews.

Calendly's free plan covers one event type per user, which is enough for a phone-screen link. Paid plans add team round-robin, collective (multi-host) events, routing forms and ATS integrations with Greenhouse, Lever and others.

It breaks down at multi-interviewer onsites with constraints; that is where GoodTime or an ATS's scheduler takes over.

Pros and cons

Free tier works for screens
