Gem review
Best for: sourcing teams that need a CRM and outreach layer on top of their ATS.
Gem started as an outreach and CRM layer on top of Greenhouse and Lever and grew into a full platform, including an ATS of its own. Sourcers use its extension to add candidates from the web, enrol them in multi-step email sequences, and track response and conversion rates by sourcer, source and role.
Its analytics are the best in the CRM category for answering 'why are we not hiring fast enough'. The trade-off is cost: Gem is sold on annual contracts sized for teams of several recruiters.
